Blowing Bubbles

I've one more card left in my drafts but I'm not going to panic or worry that I don't have anything to blog. Yesterday I made the most of the weather and the garden sofas that my Son brought us for our Birthday and Christmas presents. He said he rather buy something now that we wanted rather than wait till later in the year and it doesn't get any use. I read my book and did some crocheting adding more squares to my bed spread reckon I'm about a third done.
I really love Mo's Bubbles Boy but not sure the Kaiser papers were the right ones for him but of course Mo's image saves the day. I didn't know how to embellish and I tried looking for real buttons but in the end I decided to use MFT die and I couldn't leave them unthreaded either, some things never change. Some Glossy accents on the bubbles job done.

Love this image Debby, reminds me of when our eldest was small, he would insist on sucking rather than blowing and then cried when he got a mouthful of soapiness and no bubbles!! Happy days!! xx

I love this Bubbles Boy image of Mo's and also the die cut buttons using that gingham and that burst of orange with the backing card and ribbon. So glad you had a relaxing time in the sun yesterday, but unfortunately the sun seems to have forgotten how to shine down here in Somerset lately, but lets hope it soon improves. x

Super card, Debby. The buttons were the perfect embellishment! I love my button dies. I try to make buttons out of my scraps and store them, sorted by color, in some little stacked containers. I usually cut four buttons and glue them together, one on top of the other. This gives them some dimension (but not too much!) and makes them very sturdy.
